The Roaring 20’s are back!

Third time’s the charm! NYC-based Merkley + Partners tapped Nic Reader and the Format team once again for our third White Castle commercial collaboration. We were given the incredible opportunity to create our own version of a roaring 1920s party in celebration of White Castle’s original 1921 Sliders.

The M+P team approached us with a great concept with a challenging VFX twist. In addition to creating a swingin’ 1920’s party in a modern day apartment with over 10 actors in full hair, makeup, and wardrobe - all of the talent would be presented in black and white (like the silent films of that era) - while the set, props, and White Castle sliders remained in vibrant color.
